Never in human history have we been exposed to as many thoughts, ideas and diverse understandings as we are today as a culture. We live in a non-stop, busy, go-go-go world…

So who do we listen to when the media is telling us one thing and social media is saying another? How do we navigate through the ups and downs of every day life and find peace in the noise?

We have to stay plugged in and connected with God. We have to make the time to get into prayer and read His Word. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our lives and give us insight and direction. We have to take Jesus with us everywhere we go. We have to be the light the World needs at home, in the workplace, around our friends & family and wherever we go.

It’s not just about encountering Christ on Sundays in church. It’s about carrying the love, peace of Jesus and the power of the Word of God with us.

While the world might operate one way, we choose to operate by the word of God. The word of God is alive and it is Truth. He gave us His word to help us navigate our lives and every day circumstances.

So no matter how busy we get or the ups and downs we go through… we choose to encounter Jesus. The One who carries us through… the One who provides a way when we can’t see a way… the One who loves us when we feel alone…. the One who picks us up when we’re down… the One who opens doors no one can shut… the One who died for our sins and defeated the grave.
